It's only the weather.....
1. Picture from the TCH camera, Gander, NL at 1020 NDT today.
2. Picture of my place, Niceville, FL at 1020 CDT today.
Where would you rather be?

Yesterday at 3pm it looked about like the bottom picture, 70 degrees and sunny as I cut grass at home. This morning at 6am it looked a bit like the top picture. Springtime in the mountains...
Whether the weather is nice, or whether the weather is not, you just have to weather the weather!

The ice went off our lake yesterday . The sun is shining brightly and temps are in the 50's. Summer has arrived early this year.
As dry as it is here , picture #1 would be a welcome sight .
Spring fire season will too soon be upon us .

Open water fishing opens in the state of Maine tomorrow....hmmmm wonder if I should take my Ice house off the 15 inches of ice! Better leave it, I may go fishing tomorrow, with the 12 inches of snow we going to get it will be better to be inside the house fishing.

I got to shed one of my layers of fleece today! It felt like the first real day of spring. Time to get back to work on my Campster project now that I can use contact cement with the windows open for a least a couple of hours during mid afternoon.

Where's the challenge when it is always warm and sunny?
What would we do wit all our cold weather clothing?
Anyone want to buy two Alaska Pipeline Parkas? One has the pants too.

I'lljust not show this post to DH. He's a native Floridian and hates the cold.

I have to agree. Living in a climate where it is hot and sunny everyday has to get boring after awhile. Kind of like Bill Murray in Ground Hog's Day. Sitting on my front deck enjoying the weather , 58 deg and partially cloudy. We do sometimes go to Southern Iowa in the Winter for a break from the cold weather .

We dodged that one here (Quebec City), but still have like 2-3 ft of snow everywhere, including around the Trillium. Probably like 6ft in front of my house.
I was riding my snowmobile last week, and I could probably still ride this week if I wanted to.
Most of the snow is usually gone by mid-April up here, but this year it better warm up soon if we want to see some grass before May.

Our cold weather always comes from Canada. Ontario, not Quebec.

It reminds me of how our mid-Michigan weather man, Chuck Waters, used to always wind up his forecast:
And that's the weather... whether or not.

When I was in the Air Force I was forced to live in Rantoul I'll almost froze to death. When I retired from the military this Florida boy hightailed it back home. I love rambling around this country but only in cold country in the summertime

I understand you, but at least up here we don't have alligators, rattle snakes, killer bees, fire ants or hurricanes.
Some might say cold is worst than these. ;-)
