Just popping in to introduce myself, and say hi to everyone.

My husband & I just bought a new (to us) 1975 Trillium 1300 and we're picking it up on Sunday.
It's in great shape for a 30+ year trailer (with a lot of things serviced in the past year), but I'm sure there will be lots of little things that I'll be posting questions about.

Right now we're in a Little Guy Teardrop. It's done us well, but with a 50lb dog, it was finally time to get a little more room/flexibility, without upgrading our towing cars. The husband's a little sad, but is excited about the new purchase. I joke that the last of his bachelorhood will be going up for sale.

Welcome to the family! From what I've seen Trilliums are well-built rigs, so I'd bet you guys will have plenty of great adventures and memories!

On a separate note though, I HAVE to ask, what does 'Dh' mean? Dumb Husband, or what? hehe
Just wondering cause I've seen it in several threads now, sometimes involving Robin...hehe

Joe

Ah... the joy of ambiguity. "DH" has total potential. Think of an adjective that starts with the letter "D" and that's what it is.

Unfortunately, it also can apply to DW. Same rules.

I forgot to say

Especially since you are "just up the road". Have you scheduled yourselves for the Emily Gathering in July?
It's a great opportunity to put faces to the names here and to get some fantastic ideas for mods that you didn't even know you want to do.

What?
You are not keeping it to remind him that if he does not tow the line, he'll be out in the "dog house"?

Welcome!

Alan, you know the rules. They don't get to learn the secret handshake till they attend their first meet and get formally initiated. I won't tell them about the hazing rituals if you don't.

Thanks for the welcome. We're so excited & are already talking about taking it out next month for a trial run before our summer trip.

We're thinking about Emily. It's one of the husband's favourite parks (I've never been). Only problem is we're already going to Awenda the week after, and not sure if we can swing back-to-back weekends.

Agreed,
I remember reading once that the average person has less than a thousand weekends suitable for camping left in their life. Why waste them?

She's HOME!!!!

It was a long day of driving, but we had great weather & scenery. A little bit of cosmetic work is needed on the exterior, but inside is great. We're already prioritizing which items to work on first.
