Thanks Alf and Mike, both meaningful posts.

Over the years I've received Canadian flags from a number of Canadian friends, my first on July 1st some 15 years ago from a couple of Canadians traveling in Newfoundland. Campers are fun and friendly.

July 4th is here.

We joyfully celebrate the great day with extended family and friends remembering the past and looking forward to a brighter future.

Fireworks will light our beach to night and our neighborhood streets to the early morning. (Yes they are legal to purchase in NH but illegal to display (except our police seem to reasonably forget for this night.)

Dogs and burgers at the Millards. Happy voices will abound and hopefully recalling the significance of the day.

We pray that the purpose of the day is remembered and considered.

Thanks Bob ; Your post was much more diplomatic than mine would have been.

We've traveled to Newfoundland for 7 years. I was bitten by a black fly once. I don't let it stop me from returning.

Yes, please. Let's remember there are more appropriate places on the Internet for discussions of the recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings. It's not that such discussions aren't important, it's that they aren't what people come to FiberglassRV.com for. And have a great and safe holiday, y'all.

I agree. I'm as opinionated as anyone, and if we're ever sharing a campfire and I care to talk about it, I'll probably share that opinion on a wide range of topics that have nothing to do with camping. Here, I'd refrain.

I'm a member here because of my love of all things all-molded-towables. You don't need to know anything else about me other than camping related topics, etc. Besides, how much confidence would you have with someone who wears fruit on her head

Sorry, everyone.

Lately I've been feeling like the guy who sees a bridge that's out and want to flag down the oncoming cars. Not very festive of me! I'll try to just smile and wave from now on.

All interpersonal relationships are political... no exceptions.
Ultimately all comments reveal deeply held beliefs to some degree.
Someone should have told John Lennon that it really isn't as easy as he imagined!
No wait... somebody did!
