Thanks Alf and Mike, both meaningful posts.
Over the years I've received Canadian flags from a number of Canadian friends, my first on July 1st some 15 years ago from a couple of Canadians traveling in Newfoundland. Campers are fun and friendly.
July 4th is here.
We joyfully celebrate the great day with extended family and friends remembering the past and looking forward to a brighter future.
Fireworks will
light our beach to night and our neighborhood streets to the early morning. (Yes they are legal to purchase in NH but illegal to display (except our police seem to reasonably forget for this night.)
Dogs and burgers at the Millards. Happy voices will abound and hopefully recalling the significance of the day.
We pray that the purpose of the day is remembered and considered.
