Is it solid fibreglass? Or does it have a wood core? That's why.
I've used my share of Git-Rot to try to keep a boat afloat.

An outboard motor at full throttle exerts a lot of force. I had a 35 hp. motor break its mounts and fly off the back of the boat. Grabbed it by the safety cable, hauled it toward me and managed to shut it down.
Then, with much embarrassment, I got towed back to the dock by a sail boat.

I once had a boat with a bad transom, had to cut out the fiberglass on the inside of the boat then remove the wood I replaced it with marine plywood then recovered it with fiberglass. A lot of work.

I am currently looking for the same thing. I am also considering an aluminum pontoon version. You got a great deal there. I would love to find one that is a project boat.

I watched using searchtempest -

https://www.searchtempest.com/search...ined#gsc.tab=0

Click open all an it searches all of craigslist. The problem is they sell so darn fast that unless you are ready to hop in the truck and go get it right when it shows up you'll miss it.

Update on my camper boat progress...

There is none. I took it to a fiberglass shop that was going to give me a quote to do some of the work and it sat for a week, the guy never called me back. Drove over there this morning and got my boat back.

Ugh... it's a project I'd love to do myself but with a full time job and 3 teenagers I might be dead before it's finished.

I'm in North FL and willing to drive it some place to have the work done if it's a great shop.

Recommendations ? Striking out here locally

It’s a long shot, but is any one of your teens worth his/her weight in craftsmanship? My brother patched a huge hole in his fiberglass kayak with unexpected yet impressive results when he was a teen.
Maybe one of yours would jump at the job with the promise of being the first one out in the boat with you. Or a driveway bunk over with a few friends. Or $100. Or a chaperoned boat party on the lake. Or all of the above.
