Lets make a point of welcoming new forum members

I have had some extra time to view the internet this past week because I am recovering from surgery. I have noticed several posts by new forum members. I can tell they are new because the post is listed on the left as post #1 or 2 etc. While I am not involved with management of the forum I believe we (individual members) should post and welcome new members when we see that. I am also a member of an ATV forum and I remember how I felt when I made my first post there and several other members quickly responded with a welcome.

A HARDY WELCOME TO ALL NEW MEMBERS

Cheers,

Bruce

I know that Donna D. regularly welcomes new folks and many others do, also. This is a good reminder not to jump right into the conversation without saying "Hello and welcome!" first.

I think welcoming new members is a great method to introduce ourselves too.

Donna is almost always there before me but I try to always say "hi!" to new people. I never want anyone to feel ignored. I haven't been on the net as much lately so I have missed a few people.

I'm usually not too far behind Donna D. but sometimes I miss a few.
