Jason, my thoughts are with with you. We experienced this grief when my wife lost both of her parents and I lost my Mom all in a short 7 week period. Our grief was overwhelming, it is now close to two years since this happened and although the sadness is still there, the happy thoughts and memories are what we remember most.

My deepest condolences on your loss.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,

Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

You are in my prayers.

Jason - my heart hurts for you. Lost my Dad in August...spent 6 quality months in Ia with him fighting the fight. You know, the first thing we did when I got home? Went camping, spent time with Bob and Mary and it was the best healing I could have. So, GO CAMPING...Jane

There is no one who loves you like your Mom. You carry her with you always. It helped me to be in the woods. I agree with Jane, GO CAMPING. God Bless you.

Let me share your loss. I too lost my mom this week. She was 102 last july.
Just think of all the wonderfull things they experienced in their lives. From the automobile to the aeroplane to electricity and indoor plumbing and refrigeration to everything that we too have seen. Steam and jet travell. Moon shots and more.
Celebrate their experiences. Don 't just morn our loss. As long as there is one person that remembers them, they are still here.

Hi Jason, Only our bodies die. We live this short life on this planet and then we pass over into the spirit world. Earth is a school and life is hard. The lessons we learn are hard and death of a loved one is one of the hardest of lessons. You will see her again on the other side, if you walk the path of heart.

I know how you feel. I just lost my mom on the 15th...she was 90 but in great health. She had a bad stroke and passed on 4 days later. Leaves you with an empty feeling.

It is kinda creepy reading all of these posts. My name is also Jason and I lost my mum recently at the ripe old age of 62.

I feel for you sir. It doesn't matter how old you are your mum is still your mum. And it hurts. I hope you feel love in your heart, because that is where she is now and forever.

Yes, she has 3 brothers and two sisters, all in their 80s...lots of family and friends. We gave her a good send off, I think she would have been proud.
