Memorials for Darline Harper
For the benefit of Darline Harper's many friends, a message from Keith Williams:
Quote:
I talked to Bill Harper this morning, again, and asked if they had established a Memorial, in Darline’s honor, for those that wished to remember this fine lady, and could we post it. He was very pleased to have this done so here is the information.
MEMORIAL
DARLINE SCOTT HARPER
CHRIST CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION
4015 E. LINCOLN BLVD
PARADISE VALLEY, AZ 85253
(602-840-8210)
Also, I would think that any cards or notes could be sent to this address to Bill’s attention.
Again, she passed away very suddenly last Monday at about 4 AM. Apparently, there was no prior indication that Bill knew about. She will be greatly missed.

I am so, so sad about Darline Harper.
She was a long time internet friend of mine. I always enjoyed hearing from her (and Bill).
She will be missed.
Bill ... if you log on ... know we love you. In due time, please feel free to hook up your rig and come visit. I know any of us ... me especially, would dearly love to see you pull into our driveway!
I firmly believe that Darline is in a better place ... and that in the end, we'll all be camping with her again!

Sweet Darline
Darline and I met on the internet when she asked about a place to park their Casita in the desert when they came to visit their daughter. (from postings on the Casita sight, and that we lived in Indio, Ca.)
As it turned out their daughter lives just down the street from us and she works not only in the same hospital but in the same area where I worked for 10 years. We only discovered this after a few online chats. When we met, it was like we had been best friends for years.
Bill, I want you to know our prayers are with you.

Dar
All she did for me was to brighten up many of my early mornings, when I customarily log on to this web site and to the old Casitaclub web site!
If I saw a new post by ''Bill and Dar,'' that's the first one I usually read. She and Bill are always positive and have a great, level sense of humor. If you didn't know Darline, put ''Harper'' in our search engine, as I did today, then read the always thoughtful posts that they have contributed.
We met them first at the 2002 National Rally--we loved them both, and their beloved dogs too!
What a gentle lady and a loving husband, too, in Bill!
You will be missed every day by every one of us. Bill, carry on and let us be part of your support.
George
