Thumbs down

Some of the" Sightings" posts have me thinking.
A couple other forums I belong too have bumperstickers available, just to help you ID other members. I used one once to find out that the guy I had just pulled out of the ditch was a fellow I had talked to for 3 years, had no idea what he looked like

Generally the stickers are something clean, but odd, inside joke kind of stuff. Something that the 1% of the population that gets the joke will identify immediatly, and the rest of the world can roll by with only a curious glance.

I hereby begin the discussion with my design.

OKRA

They that get it, will get it immediatly.
They that don't, wont.

That's the point, isn't it?

OKRA works with addition of the logo.

What do think?

Another thought. Use the two outside frames of the dancing okra so they're facing in looking at the work OKRA.

I REALLY like the first one. I thought about using the dancing okra, but that seems too corny.

The first one is just about right, readable on the road/ campground, not too flashy or bright.

It's got CLASS

Um.....Matt?

Look at the top of the page, and click on the "STORE" link.

Is the current sticker design in need of improvement?

It's okay Matt, lots of members don't know about ALL the resources available here at FiberglassRV. For instance, the Albums have hundreds of pictures of lots and lots of brands of molded fiberglass trailers....

I'm not a fan of bumper stickers, so the one and ONLY bumper sticker I have is the one on my trailer letting folks know I'm a member of FiberglassRV

Boy if we really wanted a "secret sign" we'd get CafePress to make some of those oval stickers with just a pic of the okra smilie.

Not that we need a secret sign... I don't think we're ostracized for flaunting our FiberglassRV.com connectedness.

With all the talk about STICKERS and Trailer SIGHTINGS and FGRV Identifications,

I have a suggestion to make :

How about Trailer STICKERS with " FGRV xxx " (where xxx would be your FGRV member number)

That would identify you as a member of the FGRV group and give your member number on it also...

Then if we could get a LOOKUP on our Member Number (in then Members lookup) it would be easy to see who was the owner of the trailer that we saw out on the road...

That say ?

When we were hacked, I went from being registration no. 17 to registration no. 4900.

Point being, those reg. numbers don't make very good membership numbers. Also, I don't think we can search on them...

HOWEVER (this is awesome!), as I was doublechecking the Member list search, I discovered the Toggle More Options. If you do that, one of the choices is to search by RV Type!! (This is something y'all have been clamoring for!)

In other words, go to Members area. Click on Toggle More Options. Scroll down to "RV Type" and put in Burro. Click Go, and, voila! A list of everybody who has Burro as their RV Type!!

I'm not much into bumper stickers either, but I have one of the oval ones on my street side window. That way it can be seen when people pass me on the highway -- which they always do and they are also always looking.

Oval sticker
I have 2 vertically oriented rectangular ones that Lori & Michael passed out at the Oregon Gathering. I was trying to decide on a proper placement for them. Side positions might get noticed easier!
My rear end has too many stickers already...
