A few weeks back Charles Watt had posted some photos of beautifull picturies in the Canadian Rockies.I guess in keeping a thread of this type going lets start again.
I think picturies of good scenic shots of areas we all have been too should be shared by all.Lots of people who come to this forum may be using it as their holiday adventure as they may not be able to travel as much as some of us do.

Lake Louise Alberta at High Noon.

Here's one taken this last Oct. Waterfall between Teluride and Black Bear Pass Colorado. Look close at top of falls between them. There is an old power house that has been converted to a residense. Mike B

Boy oh boy did you ask for it.

Here's a start.

Let's start with North Sister of the Three Sisters in the Central Oregon Cascades.

He's a nice winter scene of Mt Jefferson. This was taken on an early spring hike. We were headed for the top of Cresent Mountain. When the snow go so deep walking became quite difficult we turned around. This was the lunch stop.

Can't forget 3 Finger Jack, Oregon Cascades.

These are just some of the many pictures of Oregon Cascades Mountains I have.

We pictured Newfoundland as "the rock" (barren) before we visited this Province.
For us it was a land of amazing scenery different than any where else.
You just have to be there to appreciate it, and that goes for just about any scenery pictures that we look at.

Silver Falls, Oregon. Silver Falls State Park is incredibly beautiful, filled with waterfalls and lush forests. The trail traverses behind this and a lower falls.

This was taken on our first "real vacation" with the SurfSide. It is in a little town called New Denver, in British Columbia. Dang it if I can remember the range in the back ground. I'll have to look it up tomorrow.

Should we create (or re-create) separate threads, in categories such as this list?
  • straight scenics from our travels with the trailers (like most of the post so far in this topic)
  • "I was here" images featuring the rigs in interesting places
  • "my rig" images of primarily the trailer and tug (already going as Show us your Rigs)
This one is in the middle category, taken at the Three Sisters campground just east of Canmore in Alberta (not Byron's Oregon version) - the mountains aren't really visible here...

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Mountain view in WA. Sorry, don't know the names of the mountains. (My sister-in-law, Sherry is the wonderful photographer.)

Nancy,

That looks like Paradise at Mt. Ranier. One of the most spectacular places I've been. Only open something like 8 weeks out of the year. I went hiking with my sister and all the kids, there were tons of marmots running around and the kids kept yelling, "Look, there's another Mormon"!

Well, everyone knows that Texas is flat and has no mountains, so I'll just submit this shot from on top of a little hill that I hiked.

NOTE: The camp cannot be seen in the picture. It's around the corner and behind where the marker shows.
