When I first got my ol' gal, she was the oldest kid on the block. But, since the inception of this forum, I realize that she's really in her prime.

This one's pretty new as far as Bolers go {1984} but she's almost the last of her line. There were not too many more after that. A few up to 1987 then poof. They dissapeared faster than my wife when she gets inside a fabric store.

Didn't we used to say not to trust anyone over 30? My 1978 Fiber Stream will only be trustworthy for 5 more months.

Took mine off the title. Don't have a clue where the serial number might be. Hmmm. another little project to add to the list.

Since no one has indicated they have a 50's or 60's you may have the oldest. Were there any fibreglass trailers made before 1970?

1972 Love Bug. Not many around because not many were made.
I have several friends and 3 daughters that have me watching for another one. Even my college and high school girls want one, as long as they can store them in my yard until they get their own places. I have decided to hold a family lottery to determine who gets the next one if I find another.

Our 1961 TRAILORBOAT is serial number 8 (of the introductory year) and we believe it was manufactured in February, 1961 in San Rafael, CA. Now as far as being a "true egg" --- that is a question only the beholder can decide!

Hi Bonnie
Checked out your pictures. Lookin' good so far. Waiting to see what you do with the interior. It's like painting on a fresh pallet, you can do whatever. Keep us posted. [Pun intended]

Bonnie, it updates when people post to the poll. Not just when someone does a "reply." That's the way polls work. Which can be irritating because you're expecting to see a response.

Hi Joe here in Florida and I found one that the guy was using as a storage bin at any rate I told him that I would give him 1500 for it. No go. so I said can I look in it well the interior was perfect and after he moved around all the stuff that he had in there it almost made me cry. I have been looking for one since I know what they were. You see I rebuild old Volkswagons so i just had to have a Love Bug..well I offered him everything from buying a shed and 1500 to my first born which he would be losing at by the way he eats.....The Army has him now so its there food bill now..........anyway I have been bugging him for 4 months and I went back last week and he left with it and I can't find him...........i had it in my sights and I didn't act fast enough...So I am on the lookout too down south
