I didn't know that Trilliums grew in Washington. When I was a kid, I lived in Ontario. I always loved how many Trilliums grew in the forests around where I lived. It was taboo to pick them. Apparently they take a long time to grow back.
Now I live in Calgary, no Trilliums here, except the one in my drive way.

We got these trilliums before I got my *Trillium*. We do see them wild in the woods, but these are pampered in the garden.
