OH my stars, prior to the big HACK of FiberglassRV there was a thread about BUYING a big pizza and getting the cardboard box (and pizza) through the door without trashing the pizza (close you eyes and imagine a big yummy pizza going vertical!) I read the thread...and my eyes were leaking! I wasn't there... BUT that memory will be with me forever

ON EDIT... I think I found the thread in the Legacy DATA: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ies-23780.html

You sound just like my grandkids except they say it with a scrunched up " OH ICKY" face.

The local pizza parlor calls theirs the Bronx Bomber, and its 30 inches diameter. Even if I could get it through the door, it is a half inch larger than the width of the rear table in my Scamp.

One model of the amerigo has a long, low, WIDE cargo door across the back end that is at LEAST 36" wide, so even that humongous one would slide right in. Never thought of that as a "pizza trailer," but I will from now on. There is a 74 amerigo for sale on another thread, and it's possibly the one with the pizza door! Better grab it fast while it's still available!

BEST
Kai

Thanks Donna for giving me another sales point on the HC1. Won’t be any problem putting a pizza through the back door unless it’s over 4 feet wide.

Does a peanut butter & jelly sandwich on almost-round sourdough bread count? It was really, really good.

What a storyteller! Thank you so much for taking the time to research that link & posting it for us, Donna. I'll be laughing about this for days, which isn't a bad way to spend my time.
