Need advice for a friend

I have been on the receiving end of so much great advice from folks on this forum. I'm hoping this time won't be any different.

My friend lives full-time in her 27-ft aluminum (gasp!) 5th wheel. She's having water heater problems, etc. I offered to try to find an equivalent site to this one for those unfortunates who do not have a FG RV in their lives (she takes the teasing in stride).

Any suggestions? I just don't know which site(s) to trust.

Thanks in advance.

Evelyn.
Can you relate what kind of problems?
Not heating?
Leaking?
Also try to let us know what water heater she has or a pic or two.

Try IRV2. That site covers all kinds of RVs and has a pretty large following. It's run by the same folks as this one.

Thanks for the quick response, Tony. So, in the big scheme of things, I guess a water heater is a water heater whether or not it lives in a FG rig.

Can my friend contact you by PM or ? (easier than me trying to relay the info). I'm heading out to my part-time job, so will check back.

Thanks!

Thanks, Dave. Looks like a pretty cool site. I'll pass on the info to my friend.

There are small propane tankless water heaters that I'd take a good look at. Some are just $100-200. I believe they may need to operate outdoors. Do a web search.

My friend has help!

My friend, Laura, told me today that she thinks she has two able-bodied neighbors to help her out. If no resolution, she'll get back in touch. THANK YOU, all, once again for the great & speedy advice.

(What started out with me asking for a reliable website to help out Laura turned into a bit more, & gratefully so! But, at this point, maybe this is more appropriate for Owners Helping Owners? Or not, since she's deprived & her trailer isn't fiberglass? Also, I think an Admin person needs to take care of this? And, lastly: surely I can find a few more spots to place question marks??)

Great advice; didn't think of that. I may look into that possibility for mine. Thanks!
