Never been to Cochiti Lake (between ABQ & Santa Fe off I-10), we want to take our grandson camping somewhere we could swim & for him to try his hand at fishing. He's not 5 yet.
Hoping someone could tell us if it has a nice place(s) to go swimming (we don't have a boat)?
I see they do have electric sites as well as water & electric, which I believe we may need if it gets too warm.
Which camping area would be best, Cochiti Campground or Tetilla Peak Campground? Is one nicer than the other?
Thanks for any input.
