New German trailer models

These are really nice, can not tell what the construction is though
Equipment - Hobby Caravan
this one is the biggest single axle I have ever seen- looks almost 25 feet long.

Wow, very nice woodwork and hardware! Love those cabinet door handles. But do you really think tha this can be towed by that van that they show in the photo? Seems a bit of a stretch.

Cool, they stole the idea of the Boler frenched-in tail lights!

But, boy that axle looks like it's in the wrong place....

Specs for the 560 which appears to be the longest single axle 26' show a GVW of about 3900 pounds which makes it doable depending on your TV.

I believe that at least half the European vehicles being sold have diesels, with comparatively high tow rating.

The 2.2L, 4 cylinder diesel Honda CRV is rated for 4400lbs and the 2.0L, 4 cylinder diesel Subaru Outback is rated for 4000lbs. Not to mention that they get better than 50mpg (Imperial).

It's amazing that we are virtually shutout of these vehicles.

Look at the photo closer. I think it's actually hitched to the house.

Hi: honda03842... Blame the EPA for the shut out. VW had to do a rework of their diesel a few years ago and I'm not sure that it qualifies for California even now!!!

I know that VW does not sell their pickup here, I assume for the same reason. I keep watching for a change, but so far, built in S. America, but not sold in N. America.

I like the looks of it. The axle though...good grief. That thing must have no tongue weight.

Oooooooo. Eye candy! I would not dare to tread in there after a day of hiking though. Imagine mud on the rug and dirty dust on the white sofa! It is, however, a beautiful "tiny house" in which to live.

Did you notice how the beds are made up? Folding the comforter on TOP of the sheets is very European. We saw bedding done like this in many countries and have adapted it for our home. It makes for easy make-up of the bed.

Water/wastewater tank capacity:??????
I'll bet that's where the weight-savings come in.

Reminds me of the day when molded fiberglass trailers were built that way!
