Hello, we are new members of the community, from East Texas. The hubby and I, just bought a 1978
Trillium 4500, from a very nice member here, this past weekend. Even though, we have had many different travel trailers/campers over the last 40+ years, we have
never had anything,
like this little trailer! It looks just great, with many things already done. It was love at first sight, for me. After pulling it for about 500 miles, camping two nights...the hubby is having to admit to being "smitten" himself. We can see why the folks on this site, are crazy about the EGGS. We did not have a manual, and of course, knew nothing about these campers. I can't say those two nights went smooth as glass. However, the second night was better and today, at home, even a few more little glitches solved.
I am simply amazed at the projects here, on the site. We are what they call, "a bit long in the tooth", and we will never be into restoring this camper, like some folks here do. However, we DO love projects, so we will be doing some repairs and fix-ups. I so appreciate the information that is here. Hopefully, some of our "improvements" will be successful and we can pass along some tips on putting bows on your petite pigs. Thanks for having us. Jo and that old guy.
