Sunday I had my new 13 Scamp delievered.
Ended up ordering the package plus brakes and ceiling fan, got the crank out windows which I think I am going to like better than the sliders.
Played with it today, got the lights and brake controller hooked up and everything works which made me happy.
Tomorrow will go to the DMV and get it licensed and then insured.
Plan on pulling it over to Roseburg so I have a bed for my nephew's graduation.
I do have a couple of questions but will wait as I should be able to figure them out on my own.

I noticed you gotten "crank out windows." Are those an option, now? I do not remember them having that option when we order in 2005. I can see them having benifits over the slide type, which only open half way across.

I think you have to ask for them when you order your trailer, I had asked if that was available and they sent me a picture and I told them to put them in, No added cost for that.
The only downside I can see is a person could bump into them.

My plan is to take it out for a test drive tomorrow, will stop where there ia a nice backdrop and take some pictures, then I will have to figure out how to post them here, I see there are instructions on how to do this so will see if I can figure it out.

As requested here is a picture if I can make this work.
Took the trailer out for a test drive today, no problems but did need to redo my connector on the pickup, it was in the wrong place to work good.
It was only raining a little when I took this picture.
If this works it is thanks to Gina for the step by step instructions

Duane,
Looks great. The crank-opens should be great in the rain. I was always a fan of the old "jealousy" windows of the 50s and 60s (and my late VW Campmobile).
BTW, it appears (may be the roadway) that the nose of your Scamp is a bit higher than the back. Most trailers are a bit more stable level, or a tad nose down if perfectly level isn't possible.

Duane, Was the ceiling fan one of those 2 way super fans? I was just wondering if they circulate the air good inside on a humid day?
Nancy
Would love photos of the inside

I noticed that myself, it was a little difficult to tell at my place and that was one of the reasons I wanted to take it to a parking lot. My plan is to haul a small motorcycle in the back of the pickup so with that added weight it might level it right out. Having a little oversize tires on the back of the pickup probably did not help either.

The ceiling fan is a Fantastic fan, but have not had it long enough to tell how effective it will be. I will try to take some inside pictures and post them but it might have to wait a few days, I am going to pull it over to Roseburg tomorrow and leave it there until after the 4th of July.

Thanks Gina
I do plan on coming down for the day at the OG. Not sure what day but probably either Friday or Saturday. I will leave the Scamp at home this time. Need to get an idea of which site I would like to have for next years gather. Look forward to meeting the helpful people on here.
