New to me 1975 Boler Survivor

Hi Folks, just thought I'd share some pics of my 1975 Boler I just purchased. It's a true survivor, completely original and unmolested. The frame is excellent which surprised me but made me quite happy too! I will be restoring it to original within the next few weeks. It is very dirty so I started by pressure washing the exterior and it's in better condition than I initially thought.

Looking good! Can't wait to see the inside.

Is it going to Bolerama?

Are those Nova Scotia plates? Where in NS are you? My neighbour is looking for a Boler if you decide not to keep it. Cheers, Phil, LaHave, NS

Hi Phil, I'm in Halifax, and yes I may sell it after I'm done restoring it.

I can't believe how much the top gel coat still shines with only a power wash! Great find. I like the custom tire and propane tank covers too (even if they are a little worn.)

No Tim, it's not shiny, the pic was taken while it was still wet. I have a lot of work ahead of me to get her shining...

Seems like this trailer is a great candidate for the Red Max/Zep (high gloss floor wax) treatment.

Yes Jon, that's exactly what I'm thinking of doing after spending quite a few hours compounding and waxing the green. It did come back somewhat, at least it doesn't look grey anymore! Also I have no idea why these pics loaded sideways, the last pics I posted didn't do this?

Depending on the look you're going for, that may be good enough. Not quite the high gloss of original gelcoat, but looks great!

If you decide later to go the floor wax route, you'll have to remove any previous wax.

The forum software seems to have trouble with orientation of pictures from newer mobile devices. If you take everything in standard orientation (landscape, home button on right), they should display correctly.
