New to us Scamp? At least we think it is a Scamp.

We came across our newest addition recently. A Scamp 5th wheel. It doesn't say Scamp anywhere but the shape gives it away. Our Title calls it an Ultra. I'm not familiar with this floorplan. Also it is a dual axle. Whatever it is it looked like a ton of work was needed. I assumed almost everything was bad. We aired up the tires and limped home. I emptied it of all the trash and an adorable floorplan appeared. I was shocked when we tested the ac/heater and it worked. The fridge gets nice and cold. We will scrub and clean, get new upholstery, make new sleep area cushions, and reseal everything. I would like to get rid of the silver paint to see what the shell is like. I need to read up on this before we get started. We needs to do all the axle work and wheel bearings, new tires, test the water lines. I'm sure we will come across issues but we are having fun driving in.

Not a Scamp, unless it is HIGHLY modified. Make that VERY HIGHLY modified!
Hitch, axles, door, rear body, taillights, roof, and that's without looking inside!

Google is amazing! Ultra Lite Coaches Inc- Trailers. Not a Scamp. I can't find any information though. It is 20ft according to the VIN

We lived with a 19’ Scamp for 15 years. Yours I definitely not a Scamp. The body curves are wrong. I would suspect that it could be someones one off, or prototype. Looks to be something that will provide lots of great adventures and stories.

The best part of all...my husband is 6 ft tall and he walks just under the AC without smacking his head on it. With his shoes on.

What a steal; congratulations! I really like the floor plan. Best of luck with the restoration. You know we love pictures, so keep us posted.
