I am very sorry for your loss. It is good that you still have your other beloved pet to comfort you and for you to comfort that pet for its loss of a close companion.

dogs!

We had to put "Sparky", our beloved 17 1/2 yr old Jack Russel to sleep in Sept 2017. He's burried in the back yard near his sister who passed away in 2012.

Ole Sparky was my "therapy dog" for my spinal fusion op and a total knee replacement in 2014 and 2015. I figure he and I walked 1500 miles over 4 years in 'therapy'... in the neighborhood. We miss him and his picture goes with us on our travels. We decided we just could not get 'another dog'.

So sorry to hear Kai. I'm glad we got to meet her at SAFE. It sounds like she went peacefully in her sleep. The only bad thing about having a pet is when they cross over the Rainbow Bridge.

Thanks to all for your kind, comforting, and helpful words.

We're thinning Cinder now; no one else's food is on the floor to tempt her. No more treats to "keep it fair."

It's quieter here. Nimble was a cute little thing and loved meeting the people at the SAFE and the other camping trips she took with us.

But as everyone who had a dog anywhere near her probably knows...she was JUST like Brian in that Family Guy clip...and worse!

Thank you so much, everyone. Paul and I really appreciate it.

BEST
Kathleen (Kai, "K"), Paul, & Cinder

Sorry about your pug. Pets are hard to lose. May the fond memories supersede the sadness.

Our rescue pug Oscar is nearing 11, and we cherish every day with our little camper no matter what shenanigans he gets into. So sorry about your loss.
