No rest for gypsies!

There are lots of things I *should* be doing, but what AM I doing? Well, after fixing my water inlet leak, with the astute help of Sr. Watts, I stripped everything out of Otra, cleaned her, and then Scotchgarded® her carpeting. (Except for the floor; we have lino.) I was surprised that it was still as clean as it was, after five weeks of man/dog residence.

I used the carpet version of Scotchgard and since it was designed to spray straight downwards, it was a little tedious to get it onto the walls. In some spots I just sprayed it into my palm and rubbed it on. I'm sure that's not really good for you, but...

It took a whole can of the stuff (at about $10) to get the walls nice and damp. I only applied a little on the ceiling yet, over the stove and in the entry way in case I have tall, greasy-headed visitors.

And with all the stuff sitting on my desk with "DO ME!" stamped all over them, what else did I do? I started working out the itin details for my next trip in late May. It'll involve OH, IN, IL, IA, NE, SD, MT, ID, OR, UT, NM, TX, AR, TN and then back to PA. As it stands now I'll be out from about the last week in May until the first of August. About 70 days.

Hey, it's Sunday, and this is how I relax! So sue me! ;)

Oooo, Oooo!

I almost forgot: I also put up some new wall hangers with pop-rivets in the "entry way." The stick-on kind kept falling off, even though I really carefully cleaned the surfaces. So I just drilled holes in 'em and went to work with the rivet gun. What fun!

I like that rivet gun, too. and why not drill holes, it's yours. Going to all those places, what a life. :thumb

Hi, Jana!

I have a love affair with America. What else can I say?

Holes. They still make me nervous, but I think I did OK today with the rivet gun. Learn a little every day!

Hi, Robert!

Glad y're back. We missed ya! (Okay, I know you've actually been back a few days... but I was out of pocket myself, although not so long as you!)

:wave
