Norm & ginnie anyone heard from them

I was reading on this site last night and suddenly real-time haven’t seen any post from these fine folks. Has anyone heard anything about or from them. I believe they were full timers , I always enjoyed Norms well written comments/stories and some of his very clever modifications
Hope they are well

I seem to recall that they bought a non fiberglass camper and slowly stopped posting.

I too enjoyed Norms posts, and hope they are still out there enjoying their lives.

Nrom & Ginnie

They still have their 16 Scamp last we heard. They have a ParkModel in an SKP park in south Florida. They have been doing 2 months or more in Nova Scotia each summer with their Scamp.

Last time I talked to Norm he indicated he was just very busy these days so not posting much. However that was a year ago so things could have changed.

Here I am, Norm

Ginny and I still have our Scamp 16 and actually I started working on it last week, getting it ready for our next adventure. Our travel plans for this year were to head back to Newfoundland for our 12th 2 month visit. Unfortunately Covid interfered. Our plans now are to head to NH in August and maybe skip up to Newfoundland in September if they open the borders.

We have always wanted to try a summer in Florida and are virtually forced to stay here. We've adapted well to the climate and play Pickleball twice a week with park friends. Our county has only a single Covid death and even that one is questionable.

I'm in the process of working on the Scamp, making a few mods, re-doing caps and generally cleaning up. We do have a 1993 BornFree 21 fiberglass Class C that we bought on a whim. We took it on an 8 month trip to Seattle last year spending a lot of time on the Oregon coast in our favorite little town Port Orford.

When I bought the BornFree Ginny said she would cry if I sold the Scamp. So here we are a two RV family.

This is our 20th year on the road. We are still totally happy with our lifestyle and will be 78 in a couple of months. Our plans is 7 more years of travel.

And yes we still love our Scamp.

Safe travels to all, Norm and Ginny

I was about to mention that Norm is still around and posting on Facebook, but Norm beat me to it by posting a response!
