Oh, woe!

Today I sold my 1984 Rockwood 1460 tent camper. I put an ad in the paper and got three calls before 9AM this morning. The first people to come out bought it, no haggling, no hesitation, and no objections to her hard-earned blemishes and battle scars. I was glad for them, and for the camper, too. They are a young couple, in their 20s, wanting to do some camping. They've camped for years with their families, but now want to do it on their own. They seemed really excited about the camper.

My wife and I have many wonderful memories woven around that little Rockwood. We've had it since 1991 and have spent many desert and woodland weeks in it.

I hope it gives its new owners as much pleasure as it gave us.

Good-bye

:cry

I know it's really hard to let go, but the memories don't go with it. They stay behind with you and your wife so the new couple can make their own.

You and Murphy shall surely make some grand ones in your Casita, then you will have both! ;)
