RE: Owners Manuals
I don't know if Trails West did any better, but the original owners "Manual" for my 1973 Hunter Compact-II consists of a single page, type written on both sides.

There was a sales brochure, too, do you have that? I think I sent you the stuff via Harry but maybe we both did.

Bobbie, is it in the Document Center? Fiberglass RV - Document Center - Trails West Campster
These are what I just uploaded in the Furnace, Refrigerator, Lighting and Plumbing folders. It may take a day or so for a moderator to approve them... these were all from Harry and all that I have from him.

I approved all but the Duo-Therm Furnace's 4 page booklet. The 1st page needs to have the handwriting removed before it can be approved.

Donna, Fredrick and Bobbie,
Thanks so much for uploaded these files and making them available. What a great resource. I am downloading files and getting ready to fix some things.
I was working on the replacement 'canvas' this afternoon in the rain and it is almost finished. Now, on to the Coleman gas light and the stove top.
Again, Thanks!
Teri

I would love to see PICS and FULL DETAILS ...
...on how you re-did THE CANVAS POP-UP PROJECT!!
I will soon need to re-do mine and no longer have the ORIGINAL ONE as a template to follow. Are you having it professionally done or are you sewing it yourself?
Thanks, Teri!

Barbara,
Check out the thread "Canvas Replacement on Pop-top". I have tried to update what I have been doing. I had to repair the lift mechanism as well.
I have done the sewing myself. The canvas that was on my trailer had four screen windows in it and I decided to only do two. They are a pain to sew. I also am using waterproof rip-stop nylon. The top part of the 'canvas' will be attached using velcro instead of the original staples. The bottom part will be attached to the frame using staples and some molding.
All I have left to do is the cover for the two screen windows.
Hope this helps.
Teri

My stove works fine but I gave up on the Coleman gas light as I was told it was dangerous. Mine pulsed when turned on. I have thought of replacing it with another gas light, though, as I like the idea of having one.
