Manual shifting on the steering column. Can't remember the car, I want to say I think it was a Fairlane. In any case, I did not get to drive it. My older sister rear-ended the car ahead of her when she was babbling to a friend.

Hay bales, not round bales. Cream separator (Yes, I was raised on a farm.), hand milking with milk stools.

GI Joe.

And I have one of the first 50 Erytl toy tractors.

When I was in Kindergarten, I remember getting a 1/2 pint at 10:00 each day, and paying $.02 for it.

How about the old automobile air conditioner .... It hung on the window and Dad would fill it with water. As we drove, Mom would pull the cord.. we were wet and cooled off ....

Do you remember the roller skating rinks with the organist playing as we skated?

Old wood school desks with ink wells.

It's not a thing but an experience.
I remember when I was very little and it was dark out laying on the package tray in the back window of my fathers auto and watching the stars until I fell asleep.
I also remember riding in the back of my dads pick up and him telling me he would kill me if I got up before we stopped.
It's a wonder we all grew up since we were doing such dangerous things.
If we let our kids do such stuff today we would be in jail.

Under-dash add-on air conditioning.

Cloth child car seats with leg holes and toy steering wheels that had arms that hooked over the seat back.

Houses all had Milk Chutes, and milk came in glass bottles

Glass bottles of "Happy Pop" by the case

Mo-Jo's were 2 for a penny, 50 cents got you a whole bag of candy from the corner store

Kids could go outside and find ways to amuse themselves for hours on end (without TV or video games)

TV had dials and remote controls were only for the rich people when the first BetaMax machines came out with them.

Listening to "snoopy and the red baron" in the car 8 track player

My mom's 'new' high tech stereo system that took up a large portion of the living room and then you couldn't even put things on top of it because of the upward hinged lid to reach the record player

Green and Orange were the hot decorating colours
