Oliver Legacy Elite II - Twin Beds
Here are some pictures of our Oliver Legacy Elite II with the twin bed option.
We previously had a Casita Spirit Deluxe, then a Bigfoot 21' front bedroom, and now the Oliver which is the perfect size for us.
Our previous trailers had beige and brown interiors so we decided to "walk on the wild side" a bit and chose teal and lime green as our colors for the Oliver. Love it!
The folks at Oliver are awesome to work with. We are so happy with our decision.

Beautiful camper, Kathy. Love the color scheme you chose. Rug and spreads are really nice!

Very nice, Kathy. We make our beds up in the same direction as your pictures show because it "looks" correct, but we actually sleep going the other way. We chose the same countertop color as yours also. I really like your color choices. Our little dogs like the nightstand so they can cross over in the night to wherever they choose to sleep. How is the Andersen Hitch working out?
Congrats, you are going to love your new Ollie.

Thank you, Sherry. We think it's fresh looking and fits the trailer style. We said trees & grass are green and sky & water are blue so why not...

Hi Steve, Funny about the beds...we have had the same discussion but decided to sleep with heads beside the night stand (makes it handy for clock, glasses, phones, etc.). Our dog Bear likes to hop across from one bed to the other...depends on who is giving him the most attention!
The Anderson hitch is good. Getting a little more accustomed to it every time we use it. The pin was difficult to insert at first, but that is much better now. A lot easier to handle than the iron bars we previously used.

That is a nice looking rig. How do you actually sit at the table? I see the back cushions propped up against the out wall but do you move them to sit facing the table?

Looks great. Bold color scheme, but makes for a nice look inside. Please let us know if you use your Olie in colder weather and how warm you stary.
Thanks

Very nice camper indeed. Colors are nice! We decided to go the king bed route instead and leave it setup as a bed most of the time. One thing that bothered me, and there were very few, was the wobbly table on the rear dinette once it was setup. For those who use their larger rear dinette is this normal? The smaller forward dinette was rock solid.

We just picked up our Oliver on Wed and came home yesterday. We had some sort of problem with the legs and they did something, don't know what, but they do feel solid. I suppose you do have the slots in tight and turned to lock and then turn that other thing to further tighten it down. How's that for vague instructions. It would be nice if the table was about 6 inches shorter to give more room to get into the seat, and I am a skinny guy.
We did not get the Anderson hitch and it pulled and tracked really nice. Between I55 and I70, major truck routes, there were no issues with trucks passing. Only issue was the 9 mpg I got with the trailer, 15 mpg going down without.
Now, when is spring gonna be here?

Stan we don't actually have ours yet, was just making a comment based upon the demo model in the show room. But glad you had a good trip back. And more importantly that your Oliver tracked and towed so well, notwithstanding the single digit MPG.

Floor level view of the nightstand drawer and the storage areas beneath our twin beds. The hatches that are open lead into the basement. A small electric heater will keep the interior nice and toasty all Winter. Leaving the basement access hatches open will keep all the plumbing warm.

Steve,
Why do your twins look so different from all the pics I've seen, including Kathy's? I wasn't aware there were access doors in the side of the beds.
Kathy,
What color name are your countertops? There are a few that are very similar in the samples I received.

Hi Ron, the countertops are the lightest color (think the sample was painted white on the back). Our most difficult decision was the decals...everything else was easy.

I had asked for storage space under our beds. Working with Steve Parsons (Oliver's resident fiberglass guru), we came up with a raised bed platform with access doors in the side that gives us some 15 additional cubic feet of storage space under each bed. They had to construct two new molds to make these. They have worked out really well for us.
At Walmart, I found some totes made by Sterilite that were a perfect fit. You can fit 4 of the large or 8 of the small ones (or various combinations of the two) under each bed.

Not sure I'd want those beds up that high, appears that you will be sleeping at window level, maybe a bit colder vs the insulated walls.

We are in countdown mode to our December 1 delivery. I hope the Ollie really is a four season camper because it is cold in Hohenwald.
