Even knowing there wasn't a chance on the planet that I'd get it for graduation, I still dreamed it'd show up in the driveway.
Well, it didn't show up, but I told myself I WOULD HAVE a '57 Chevy Convertible before I died. I'm a lotttt older now, but I haven't given up. I'll be the COOLEST 80-yr-old on the highways!

I had a Porsche 911 convertible on my list (as did my brother). We did it. I sold mine when we decided to become RVers, keeping the towable Honda Civic.
It was fun, handled wonderfully.

That glass egg is a little futuristic for my taste.

I bought these :-)
I bought them and will be going into production this year. The molds were in great condition, it was a total of 4 shells and all the equipment. They are being shipped to Seattle this month. The story behind them is pretty amazing and will share with pics of them during the finishing process.

Good to hear from you Jayne. This is the 2nd of two threads about the trailers and molds that ran when you were buying them. As there about 3 other "New" fiberglass trailers about to come to the market we are all looking forward to yet another. You might look back to review the threads. I will try to bump the longest one to the top of the current threads list.
Here's a link to the "Nest Caravan" thread.

Getting a product of this magnitude to market will be a huge undertaking, but I'll certainly be rooting for you! It is a striking design worth preserving and should find a market among the classic car crowd.
I do hope you'll find time to get some of the history of this project before you become immersed in trailer-building.
We'd love to have updates and pictures of your progress. Be prepared for ten conflicting opinions on every conceivable design decision!
I am enjoying the renaissance in molded fiberglass design and manufacturing. I wish you success in your venture!

Huge undertaking
Yes it is a huge undertaking but are really excited about it. We have a great fiberglass manufacturer who will be producing them, the amount of people interested in being involved is crazy. My main goal right now is studying the 4 shells and working out the best interior layouts then going into production. We will be selling directly to the dealers. If anyone has any good name ideas that would be great to hear, it's hard finding a name, kind of like naming a baby lol

You have probably already thought of "Classy Chassy" cute but not too cute. Anyway my first thought. There may be more, just a warning, lol.
