Ginny and I love Texas, such a varied state. Many of our Eastern friends find the Texas way just to different, for us it's exciting.

Big Bend is great. We'll probably be there some time in January. After Christmas in New Orleans.

FYI The coldest camping trip we've ever had was Rio Grande Village. The temperature dropped to 5°F Brrrr.

You never know what January will be like in Texas. We spent New Years Day here two years ago and the weather was cold, sunny, and beautiful. Great when your inside your toasty fiberglass trailer and everyone else is crawling out of their tents in the morning!
