I suppose the advertisements I keep hearing about are national. Tells you to push your OnStar button to register for a new car give-away. My service had already ended with the free year that came with my Chevy so I figured they would try to sell me. I was surprised when they offered me FREE six month service which I took.
They then offered me the Onstar phone service for six months with 60 minutes for $4.99 total which I also took since I don't (but wife does) have a cell phone.
I thought others here might be in the same boat. Just push your OnStar button even if your service has expired for a freebie.
