Doesn't everyone have the best one?

I can answer "why". They make them to make money. They're in business.

I took a screen shot of many of the fiberglass makers that are discussed here:

In my heart I feel there is a "best" case for any of them. I own a Scamp and although I don't know if it's the best, it certainly is fun and so far dependable.
Mine is a 1992 purchased used a month ago. I am amazed that a 25 year old trailer can instill confidence bouncing down the road. I think that's what makes fiberglass a highly sought after travel trailer, their durability.

If anything, I'd wonder who makes the best trailer, best welds on the trailers, etc.

If you were looking for arguments, you started the right thread. "Best" is entirely subjective. Now, off to read something helpful....

Compact jr is best, and don't let anyone tell you different till they've been in the one I know you'll buy now. Ha!

No, no, mine is!

Or, at least it will be when it's built...

...and I take it places...

...or will it take me?

Very true.

Every one of our trailers is a compromise in some sort of way. For me with my Escape 5.0TA the main one is the fact I don't have the back of an SUV or the box of a truck to carry stuff in, but we love it just the same.

There is definitely no right answer to the OP's question. All the trailers used by members here are great. Why? Because they get us out making memories, and that is the main reason to own any one of them.

What is "best" is to read lots of stuff in the archive about the various models, and to formulate for yourself what would work best for you.

The best is one that gets used. The worst is one that sits in a storage lot year after year and never moves.

I have to agree with Byron , The best Fiberglass trailer is the one you own and use.

You will have to hang tight and wait for Airstream to get it's new Fiberglass trailer out the door to customers. Obviously they are going to be saying it is the very best one https://www.airstream.com/nest/

No problem here as I am happy to let them wear the crown if they want to stick it on their heads. Not that I will be buying one as I don't buy lottery tickets and so far I have not found a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.

It is a good looking trailer and I like they layout better than any of the others on the market. As far as the best welds go I guess it depends on who is doing the welding that day. Of course if Airstream uses a robotic welding machine where every weld is consistent and perfect then they might wear that crown too
