Optimum RV in Ocalla Florida is a fraud.

They keep bumping Casita campers that they dont even have, because they get alot of calls and they say well that sold but we have this or that. They even put down Casitas as mold and allergy traps with the carpeted walls. I wouldnt buy nothing from these idiots! Feel much better now thanks.

Randy that's an old trick and we've heard it before here. We're always a favorite of scam artists and I think it shows the value of our little eggs.

I just had the bearings repacked on my Casita at a garage that is also a used car lot. The trailer sat out for about a week next to all the cars for sale. My mechanic said that they had at least 10 people a day stopping by and asking to buy it. People were leaving phone messages when the place was closed. He said he probably could have sold it 20 times.

I believe it. Its one thing to not delete craigslist posts when somethings sold, but reposting the same camper every week is annoying but Im sure it gets the phone ringing.

If a business/person is abusing Craigslist, you can report them. They won't put up with it any more than eBay does. These companies dislike scammers and spammers as much as consumers. But it has to be reported.

Thanks Shawn but right now Im only wanting to spend $10,000. The Egg brand campers Ive looked at have the seam across tha top. I would prefer it to be around the side like Casitas etc.

You can always offer them less than what they are asking and the seam location is irrelevant, what is important is whether you like the Egg inside and outside. It may be the one you want.

Randy, Ocean Grove in St Auggy has or had the 5th wheel scamp for 10 grand. I just hate buying from a dealer but can always make an offer has your walking away...

Your choice obviously, but I wouldn't let a characteristic like this limit my search. That upstanding seam adds strength to the roof, too.

I dont think the seam would really be a problem I just like the idea of it low on the trailor, easy to see and address as needed. I would prefer the bed in the back, a side table with bench seats that can also be made to a twin bed and a bathroom up front. The Freedom has swivel chairs and the Spirit and Liberty are more to my liking. I have a covered truck, Jeep and Blazer so a 5th wheel, although quite nice wont work for us.

The seams are fiberglassed together, so problems (i.e. leaks) there are extremely rare. Far more leaks around windows or doors than around seams.
