Have any of you ever had to buy any parts for a Fiamma awning? The rafter on our awning snapped during a really nasty thunderstorm. So I've been trying to order a new one. Specifically the one that helps shed rain. So I got the part # and called several of my local RV dealers. None of them will order any Fiamma parts, as they're not Fiamma dealers. I told them that all they have to do is call the 1-800 number I had for Fiamma and they can get the part for me. Guaranteed sale. No go. They just won't order any Fiamma part for me (and as I'm a retail customer, Fiamma won't sell directly to me). I tried a half dozen different local RV dealers, including Camping World.

So I was told to call Leisure Time RV in Florida to order the part, which I did, and the person I spoke to in their parts department could not have been more ignorant of the product line and had no idea what I was talking about and could not order the part for me.

If any of you have ordered Fiamma parts, where did you get them?

Thanks!

Have you tried to get the same part, but through Dometic?? It's my understanding it's the same awning.

I ordered mine from a company in Los Osos, CA. The companies primary market is VW vans and so they cannot help with any information to deal with Fiberglass Trailers.

Taylor is a very nice guy and will order what ever you need. He told me if there is a problem though with the product, I had to deal directly with Fiamma.

I hope this contact helps you solve your problem...<blockquote>Taylor Grant

I tried that. My local Camping World said "No". End of issue with them.

A year ago I asked them about the Fiamma Florida Room. They said they didn't know what I was talking about.

Last week I called Casita, needed replacement rafter for my '94. Jay gave me an 800# for Dometic. Called, they took order and will ship UPS. I would call Jay, bet he can help with Fiamma.
Good luck,

I got the same thing when I talked to a salesman. You need to talk to Taylor.

Fiamma relented and sold me the rafter directly. Since I was unable to get a retailer to sell it to me, they bent the rules and sold me the part I wanted. It will arrive by the end of the week.
