Back when it was white and looked like every other one on the road, I put my fire# on it in case someone ran off with it. It's also on top of the roof. It's a trick I read about years ago on a English camping website.

No, the paint smell is still too fresh.

I wish I had a cool paint job to post. The wife and i have been talking about painting stitching over the white to make it look like a baseball. That will no doubt blossom into logos of our favorite teams. We also want to substitute a map of ball parks visited, much the way some RVs have a map of states they have visited.

This last trip across Florida (around the lake) has me thinking a paint job will hide all the bug splats. At least a good, smooth gloss coat should make it easier to clean, right?

Jason

Edit; I just found the pic of the casita that Donna posted. Not bad, but I think stretching a round shape over a rectangle is always going to be a challenge.

Hi Cathy,
I just used Rustoleum gloss oil enamel mixed at Menards. No base coat or top coat. I painted another camper with this stuff years ago and it held up real good. The picture is a color chart of what colors are available.

Reminder from the OP:

"Folks, this is not a 'How To' thread. If you are dying to know what the owner or painter did, either post a question as a new topic or send a PM to the trailer's owner, if the owner is known."
