I really like the idea of a Flintstones themed paint job. I think I could make the Ventura look like it's made up of stone slabs

Paint jobs on fiberglass
I've looked into homebuilt aircraft made with fiberglass and learned that dark colors are a big no no because of the heat it traps causing potential damage to the fiberglass in intense summer sun (typically in warmer climates- Arizona, Texas, Florida and the like). I don't know if the same applies to the fiberglass construction materials used in our "eggs", but I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that factory paint is almost always white.
Has anyone seen any issue or heat damage on FGRVs with dark paint?
Just wondering if we should factor that in to our paint job ideas given that we (and our egg) live in Florida.

If so it needs to be hang off the side of the Kokanee trailer, if not what is that?
