Parked in a sketchy spot!

We're on the road! Right now in Nayarit, Mex. No, the 4500 didn't make it south of the border, unfortunately she's parked right on the corner of Airport Blvd. and Century right outside of LAX. Due to a last minute mix up, this was the only spot we could find to leave her while we're in Mex for the week. The lot (at the Mariott) is "patroled" 24hrs. but the lack of any kind of fence and the location, right on the corner of two busy streets, leaves me less than confident. I wonder how many homeless people can fit in a 4500. If she's still intact, look for us creeping up the Cali. coast next week!

Why did you leave the trailer behind? Is there something I don't know?

Driving, let alone trailering, this far south in Mex. is time consuming and, right now, dangerous. We've looked into the possibility, and really want to do it, but decided that with our 2yr. old. The 2.5hr. plane ride was a better bet.

I live very close to there, and at the risk of jinxing it, your trailer should be safe in their lot. Actually not much of a homeless problem in that area, as the hotels are not very accomodating of them. Now if you had parked it in downtown Santa Monica...

As long as you cleared it with The Marriot people, and I assume that you did, you shouldn't have much of a problem. If you'd like I could wander by there and put a quick eyeball on it for you.
