ParkLiner air conditioner

Good evening, all.

Today I spoke with Cameron at ParkLiner and he advised me the A/C unit is 5000 BTU. With the relatively small interior space and the quality of insulation I suspect the A/C would do quite well. For you folks that have used the A/C in a ParkLiner can you give me your thoughts on how well it performed?

Thank you much.

I'm in Alabama...as you might imagine, it gets hot here.

During the day in full sun in the middle of summer, it stays warm in there. Anything other than that, and you can get it pretty chilly!

Stayed in our PL for 3 nights on the NC coast in July. Temps in 90s. Used a small floor fan to circulate air upward toward ceiling. Stayed cool the entire 3 days and nights

since someone mentioned _using a fan_... my wife & my PL was ordered without the AC as we boondock & 12v only. That said, our staying-comfortable claim-to-fame is two days of ~80 degrees with 95% humidity utilizing open screen door + windows with roof escape hatch open and maxxFan on the -0.5 AH setting (= to about low on a fantastic fan). Kept us both quite comfortable. (PL was in partial shade ~4 hrs, direct sunlight balance of daylight hrs).

We manage without the AC for most of our travels though we have a 5000 btu closet unit. In 3 years we've used it about 5 times. Typically we were in FL and Ginny was cooking using 3 burners when we turned on the AC. Generally the 80s F are no problem for us. We do have an endless breeze fan that really moves air.

I do know we don't travel in the truly hot weather and everyone is different.

Me and my wife just spent a week at Hunting Island SC and our unit kept us cool. Had to use a heavy blanket at night.

It does ok ...the fan on the floor helps a lot. It won't turn the ParkLiner into a meat locker but makes it comfortable
