Picked up our SD (finally)

Hi,

After several years of looking for a trailer we finally picked up our Casita in Rice TX on 9/27/18. Spent 3 days at American RV park and then headed home.

My wife and I are looking forward to the roads and learning curves ahead.

Congrats Paul. I'm patiently waiting for a Burro bought (long distance purchase).

We just last week were at the Ft. Davis State Park in Texas for a Casita Meet, in a week we will be in Grapeland, Texas for another Casita meet, not far from Rice, Texas. Come to one of the meets here in Texas and you will learn more about Casita's then you want to know. Home

Dan... did you buy sight unseen and are having it shipped? Im in the process of buying a boler sight unseen by me (but which was inspected for me) and Im having a heck of a time finding a carrier to ship cross country. If you'd be so kind, would you message me with the carrier you're using, and the experience you've had? Thanks!

Hi kvnj,

Yes, I bought sight unseen. Getting a 13' Burro. I went on uship to find a carrier. While uship process was pretty easy, I haven't done well in contacting the carrier to see when they expect to pick it up and drop off. I may cancel and post again on uship for bidding on a different carrier.

Hi Jill, I spent a decade looking before deciding. We had some things needing attention before completely retiring. Good luck in your search, Paul

Thanks. Just got picked up a little bit ago and likely traveling on I-40 from Little Rock on its way to northern Virginia.
