having a number of trailers...our trillium outback, a 23' sticky trailer for the boys and a utility trailer, we too, have been calling our outback simply "the little trailer"--and the 23' is naturally the big trailer....not very original, not very exciting, but it sure helps us to differentiate between them!

Our Egg Camper is called 'Gregg. the Egg' or just 'Gregg' when things are going right and some other names when bad things happen!

We have named several vehicles over the years. The Boler we are renovating is The USS NeverSail and is being done in a nauticle theme. The tow truck is a red Chevy Colorado named Ruby. But probably one of the silliest names was for our old white van......Vanna White....

The EggCamper is Wolf's Lair. Tow vehicles are Midnight, a Black Dodge Ram 1500, Pumpkin, an orange Land Rover Freelander SE3 and Grumbles, the old Bronco with the headers and low restriction exhaust system. All their names fit well.

Well....let's see if I can remember:

1974 Trill 1300 - The Green Grape
1974 Trill 1300 - Dewey
1978 Trill 4500 - Creampuff
1978 Trill 1300 - Stubby

Now the trailers we still have:

1972 Compact Junior - CJ
1974 Boler - BB (which stands for Brenda's Boler)
1987 Bigfoot, 5th wheel - Sasquatch
1995 Bigfoot, 2500 Truck Camper - TC (haven't thought about a name for this one yet).

Much easier to refer to them by a name!

I call mine the USS Egg-terprise. I've toyed with adding warp nacelles to the top, but I think I'll just stick with getting the name stenciled on.

Some Star Trek curtains would add a nice touch. My neighbor ladies are checking the fabric stores for me :-)

Our new Escape 19 has been dubbed "Grasshopper"

Why?....... Aaahh, Grashopper… good question

Grasshoppers make us think of being outdoors in nature. They hop from place to place singing their song.

Another inspiration for the name came from the old Kung Fu TV series. The main character’s (Caine) nickname given to him by his Kung Fu master was Grasshopper. Since this will be our first travel trailer of any sort, we reckon that we will have lots to learn and experience together literally & metaphysically speaking similar to Cain

Talking

My tug is a Honda Odyssey, which fits because most of our trips are great cross country Odysseys.
The Fiber Stream is a realization of a life long dream of mine, and everything about it brings me joy. Even fixing the broken stuff.

It needed a name that went together with 'Odyssey' to form a combined name for the whole rig.

I thought of the story of Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel, "" and with a twist, I had a name!

If the car is "The Odyssey", then the trailer is "The Eggstasy"

We are planning to call our new 13 foot Escape trailer "Ladybug" -- because it is small, beneficial and beautiful. Besides, it is my wife's favourite bug.

I LOVE all these clever double-entendres - youse guyz are amazing! As in our avatar, the Scamp is the GeezerEgg, tugged by the GeezerMobile. Our former tow vehicle which carried that moniker was a Mazda MPV and GeezerMobile just fit. Now we have a Ford E350 which we unofficially refer to as "Overkyl" for obvious reasons! The grandsons just call it "Grandmere's VanCar"

Vickie, your such a girly girl! Barbie and Paris? Your's really needs to be painted pink despite what Dh says! LOL

I have never came up with a name for ours, I have thought and thought of what would be fitting to the reason for buying it, but can't come up with something that would work. I hate not having a name! I call it my baby but seriously I want a name for it. I would love to have a name in foreign language that means journey. But so far I have struck out finding it.
