Here is a sad boler I saw this summer in a ' trailer' park ' on Hwy 108 east of Sonora, CA. It was at approx the 5,000 ft level on a pass that is close to 10,000 ft. high. The last few years have been a drought but no one knew how long it had been there and in the past snow drifts could be 10 - 20 ft deep. It was caved in due to snow, and full of junk just like the boler in the top post. The only funny part was when I asked the manager if it might be
for sale. He said someone told the elderly lady owner that bolers were worth a LOT of money, which is true. So he thought she wanted about $ 10,000.
