Pricing Help

Hi All,

Friday, we are putting our 2011 Standard 19 footer up for sale. it's the end of a dream of full timing but the start of a dream of owning a home. Our backs are just not able to handle the fifth wheel. We don't want to get greedy but she has less than 10,000 miles and probably closer to 5,000. I am wondering what to charge?

We live in SW FL. The bed is turned so it is a true queen. The fabric in the bedroom is a copy of the vintage wallpaper from a famous Miami hotel from the 1930's. there is a custom bookshelf/knicknacks along with 2 front tables. One fits on the wall and works for dining or fold down under. The second just fold under. I dont believe we have the foam for the bunk under the Queen size and I see a bit of dirt on a little bit of the caulking. The fridge door shelves are no longer perfectly immaculate but no breaks etc..I'm a bit OCD about cleaning.

Thinking 16,500 ? Am I too low? Too high?

Thanks.

You’ve done two of my favorite mods: longways queen loft bed and wraparound dinette seating! Makes me wish I had a pickup!! Would you be willing to share a photo (or describe) how you supported the cantilevered foot end of the loft mattress? Just curious...

Your price seems reasonable, but I haven’t done any research. Your best resource is the classified archive at https://www.fiberglass-rv-4sale.com/scamp-trailers-sold. Go back a couple of years and look for as many S19 standards as you can find. Allow for age, location, relative condition, and season. Set your price higher or lower depending on how long you’re willing to wait.

Best wishes!

Its not about miles, its all about condition. How a trailer has been stored can make all the difference. At the price you mentioned, trailer will need to be sparkling on the outside, near perfect.

While the molded FG trailer market is red hot, the fifth wheel market is not quite as strong (but still pretty good). Fewer people looking for a fifth wheel, more looking for a pull behind trailer. +10 Go to the fiberglass RV 4 Sale website, and click on sold trailers. You will only see asking price (no actual sold prices), but given the market, I would assume most have sold for very close to asking price.
