query for an el. jack

I have a 13f scamp it has the foldaway jack. I let my el. jack go with the A-Liner I sold because I couldn't figure out how to mount it on the scmap.

anyone with suggestions for mounting a el. jack on the tongue. scamp does things different with their jack mount as you know.

thanks

bob

You likely have a 1-7/8" coupler which is shorter than a 2".
There is one hole at the back center where the chain is attached.
I moved the chain and made two independent chains. Then I welded a small piece of angle behind the coupler to accept the back two holes on the jack using the old chain hole for the front bolt.
I then got the short leg jack from Scamp and installed it. I removed the crank handle and replaced it with a piece of drill rod with a nut welded to the end, using an el. drill to operate it. works great! you could use the same method to install a ready made el. jack.
