I have a couple of questions about these rallies. First, does anyone sell FGRV's there? And, is there one in any state around TX before March? We need a trailer by the end of March as we are going west in April. Being pushed into buying a "normal cheap trailer" HELP!

Sharon, did you see this Casita in Bryan, TX?

Or this Casita near Ft. Worth?

Sure did, I have been checking all the ads on Casita Classified every day. So far, haven't found one like I want for the price I can afford.

Here's a loaded Casita Liberty in Brownsville http://www.casitaforum.com/invboard/...showtopic=3275

Unless you've been researching these small trailers for some time, you may risk making a mistake in the size and features if you quickly buy one. I think the odds of finding one for sale at a rally is small, but its a good place to get a whole lot of tours and information.

I would agree; it's rare to see a "for sale" sign at a rally. I've attended 7 large rallies and have seen about 4 trailers total that were for sale. The earliest Texas rally is Bluebonnet in the first week of April.

As a temporary measure, have you considered renting. There is a company in Princeton, Texas that rents stick built trailers, hi-los, and popups (but no molded fiberglass).

Yep, she's considered renting: FGRV Rentals

I've even offered to deliver a used trailer from TX to anyone in CA in April, as long as we can use it on the way. (will get motel rooms on the way back) So, if any of you have a buyer there, let them know. Don't think I want to do this with a new trailer, as then it won't be new, even if we are super careful.
