Really enjoy the interaction

I've really enjoyed the conversation with all of you on the various topics today. This was a lazy day, after Thanksgiving, and a time to just relax and enjoy being home.

I finished putting our "new" piano together and had a couple of neighbors stop by to say hi.

This evening, my wife Liye is here, our dog, Gogo has been bouncing around, the weather looks like we might get some rain and the fire is a nice flickering yellow.

It just couldn't be a nicer evening.

I'm retiring next week and and beginning to plan some camping trips in our lovely trailer. Probably to the hot springs soon and then to Bullard's Beach Oregon in July. A few spur of the moment trips in between.

All is well.

Congrats on the upcoming retirement John. Just coming up on 11 years and I haven't looked back once. The only down side is I have to mark the days off the calendar now so I know what day it is.....months of Saturdays in a row can get confusing .

You will soon wonder how you had time to work. As Dave suggests, every day is Saturday. Good luck on your new adventure. Raz

Thanks Kai.

We were at Bullard's Beach last year with the Casita group and all the other fiberglass trailers. That beach is beautiful.

Will you be there this year?

Hi, John,

No. We'll be driving through that way in early June, part of a big loop trip through Oregon to see 9 of the 27 State Parks with both electricity and online reservations.
We hope to see them all.

We went to the Casita meet two summers ago, 2016; it was the first meet we'd been to. We got a spot at the last minute; I got on the campground website just as one of our FGRV members cancelled. It was really interesting, lots of nice trailers, good to meet people from FGRV.

Have a really good time...Paul also sends his best wishes on your retirement and future plans!

Kai

John, are you sure I can't coax you to keep working, and send me the money so I can retire??

Great news, John. It’s nice to be able to hit the road when you want and not have to worry about a work schedule. See you on the road! Mike
