Remebering a Friend

Our community lost a friend in the early morning hours today. Paul McClure passed away peacefully in the comforting presence of his family. Paul has been an avid supporter of our life style for many years. He and his wife Jean and much of their beloved family have enriched our lives with their very presence. We were honored this week to have spent a great deal of precious time at the Green Eggs and Ham Gathering with our good friend Paul

Paul's presence and special brand of Texas humor will be both remembered and sorely missed.

Family graveside services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 3:00PM in Livingston, Texas.

Prayers going out for his family at this time. Even though I never met him, it is sad for those left behind. Empty Chairs at the family gathering and campground is always hard for those left behind.

We met Paul and Jean at a River Valley Egg Rally several years back. They had just acquired a Scamp 13 at the time. Their son Blair also attended with his Scamp 5th Wheel. What wonderfully nice people. We saw them again a year or so later at a Spring Fling rally in Louisiana after they had gotten a Bigfoot 21. Paul and I exchanged some emails over the last few years, we always thought we would meet again. We offer sincere condolences to Jean and Blair and family. Paul was such a warm individual, he must have been a great friend to many.
