Remembrance Day/Veterans Day

Nov 11 is Remembrances Day in Canada and Veterans day in the US. Lets not forget the service personnel who gave there all for us to be free.
I will not Forget.

There are a thousand ways to honor veterans, perhaps the most special one (at least to me) is a simple smile and a heartfelt Thank You for your service. Military Service is the ultimate community service. Blessings everyone.

God bless them all!

I am from a Navy family and very proud of my dad and his brothers for their service.

Thank you to all who serve-they are our heros!

Army and Marine family here (Navy and Airforce extended family). Thanks to all for the freedom we (and many others) enjoy on today!

We add our profound thanks to ALL who have served the USofA through the years. D is a Navy vet, is very proud of that service, and wouldn't trade those years of experience for anything.

I agree about the simple act of thanking military personnel. I'm often surprised by the reaction when we say "Thank you for your service" to folks in uniform ... don't think they hear it often enough.

Our freedoms are precious and hard-fought, and yep, they are NOT free but must be continually defended.

Regards, L 'n D
