Texas also has a plan to WiFi the rest stops on the Interstate highway system.

They already do have some with WiFi in Texas and many other states as well,

According to the article Byron referenced, it will cost $1.99/20 min to check email -- Apparently it is not full internet access thru the wireless network; just travel-related sites.
