Pacific SOUTHWEST?
yup....has to be Oregon and North Cal. :wave
Washington State and nearby states are generally considered Pacific Northwest. It's really a U.S. term.

ELF = Elegant Little Fiberglass trailer
OH, that's so sweet, :) I love names with meaning or little stories behind them. Good choice, Karen.

Now see, there you go again. Always looking at the map from the South to the North. I always look at "our" continent from North to South.:lol

RV Name
Doodle - '84 13' UHaul
McKenzie (Mac) - '98 Explorer 4x4
Everything has a name at my house.
The camper's name is courtesy of my Dad. Anytime he would hear that I was leaving on a trip he would make some comment to the affect "Oh, are you doodling off again?" When I got the UHaul, Doodle seemed to be the appropriate name.

Doodle
Debi - What a great reason for the name. When I first heard the name, I loved it. I thought it was because it looked like a doodle bug (aka pill bugs). Cute name, cute travel trailer!
Naming stuff is a relatively new thing for me. When I first met my husband, he asked me what my car's name was. First I just stared at him, then I just stammered around and said 'Car.' Well, that stayed its name until I sold it. Now everything around here has a name. Gets kind of hard coming up with new names after awhile, though!;)

My Trillium
I call my Trillium "The Zigster", as I have always loved the character Ziggy and the trailer to me is like his big ole round bald head.

Name that Egg!
Name that Egg!
<img src=http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/uploads/3df3fee988076steer.gif/> As a kid, I enjoyed "Wind In The Willows" story, and remembering it, named my escape home in the country "Toad Hall". Sold it this fall, and named my egg "Towed Hall"

vehicle names
:wave I named the tow vehicle Woofer Wagon (bought and designed with dog in mind) or The Beast when I'm not in a good mood. Though, after thinking on it, I don't call it Beast much anymore after getting a Roadmaster Active Suspension and Flexsteele captains chairs.
17' SD is therefore called: Woofer Wagon Too or 'Too, for short (the side dinette will be dog bed in colder weather).

Trailer Names
I was going to name my Casita "ED-A-Pod Complex" but my mom won't let me.
Another thought was "Leggo My Egg-o", but I'm waffling.

Namin' things
Though I'm not in the habit of naming things other than my daughter and my cats, (and that's just so they'd come when I call) I've enjoyed reading what you all have come up with for your eggs.
But, well, ok... though I don't know how Thoreau would feel about fiberglass, he is a literary pal of mine, so in his honor I've named my Scamp "Walden Pod"....get it? Walden Pond?
But then, I also refer to my camping trips as taking a "time out", so maybe....
Oh, not naming is so much easier. Do you think my Scamp would come if I just whistle?

Yeah, Nick
We call our travel trailer ''the Casita'' (so I've always figured that means its name is ''The''), but our Ford F-150 is different. We call it the Big Blue Gas Hawg! :reyes

Coming when called
Jean,
I've tried to train my car to come when I whistle for a long time.(Which makes more sense then the trailer, as it has a motor) If you get this prefected, please let me know.
I made the mistake of telling the grankids I named my car Daisy. I had forgotten until one asked me how Daisy was doing. double take. so I think my trailer needs a name to go with Daisy. like Flower Pot/Pod. But I'm reserving judgement until after redo.
