Looks like the least expensive segment fared the best, and the most expensive performed worst. Pretty much what you'd expect in a down economy. Depressed oil prices, devalued $CAD, declining RV sales... the dots connect.

Time to get out and camp and forget your troubles... .

I've been looking at property in Arizona. Many Canadians wintered in the area I am looking at and with the soft Canadian dollar there are lots of properties for sale. Canadian are leaving, and prices are low.

So it's a good time to be a US buyer of a Canadian-made RV, but a lousy time to be a Canadian buyer of a US-made RV.

I'm curious... do any of the big companies listed in the article have manufacturing operations in Canada?

The US side is going great guns. Thor Industries (owners of Airstream and a bunch of others) just purchased Jayco for $576 million in a cash deal.
