It really is a beautiful trailer! I love the deluxe models. Where did you get the tongue box? I really like that.

When 2013 is really 2014.

I dug out the title and realized the Scamp is a 2014 model. We ordered it in 2013 and picked it up in Backus on February 6th of 2014. Sorry for my confusion. I missed the edit window on the first post and cannot change the year.

As a lifelong woodworker I made the tongue box of Baltic Birch plywood and contoured the edge to match the Scamp's body to improve the looks. The cover is clad in White Aluminum. It is vented on the bottom to allow any possible leaking propane to drop out since propane is heavier than air. The cover is weatherstripped to keep out rainfall and road spray. It stays nice and dry. I carry the sewer hose, wheel chocks, shore power cable, marshmallow forks, etc. in there as well.

Thanks for your nice words about the trailer. I have many posts on this board describing the mods I have done. Just search for my last name Linck.

nice work

My friend is a cabinent maker he can do outstanding things with wood. His latest now is working with resins for cabinent tops. There is not as much to that as we are let to think.

You do have a beautiful Scamp and good luck on your sale!
