Scamp and Casita Owners - Condensation

Hi Scamp and Casita Owners - I have some questions about the Marine Headliner and Condensation. In our Lil Snoozy we get condensation on the walls and it gets the bedding wet when we camp if the temperatures at night are in the 30s. My wife sleeps in the front of the camper where the nose is slanted down and her head is about 12 to 18 inches from the ceiling. She gets a lot of condensation around here head due to normal breathing and because there is little air circulation in the corner.

If you camp when the temperature is in the 30s does the Marine Headliner get wet and do you still need keep a window cracked to eliminate the condensation?

Does the Marine Headliner prevent the condensation?

Sharing your experience while camping when the temperature is in the 30s would be very helpful as we are considering installing a Marine Headliner?

No, the headliner does not get wet. Yes, we still leave a couple of windows cracked open slightly to prevent excess humidity and stale air with four people breathing in a tiny 10’ cabin. Yes, we can still get some condensation on windows. No, it’s not enough to wet the walls, cushions, or bedding.

We do make sure to air out bedding daily whatever the weather. Most of our cool weather trips are warm enough by afternoon to open and ventilate the whole trailer. Lowest we’ve experienced is around freezing overnight. In those conditions we run the furnace on a low setting throughout the night.

We have a Scamp with fuzzy marine headliner over foil bubble wrap.

It's a catch 22. You want some humidity in the air for healthy breathing, but you don't want it to condense.
so: add heat and ventilation.

We have a Lil Snoozy. Reflectix and marine headliner fixed the condensation in the bed area.
